NADA Auto Show 2023: Seres 3 EV Launched At An Introductory Rs 47.99 Lakh

MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, under MAW Group, has launched the Seres 3 electric sub-compact SUV in Nepal. Making its official debut at the ongoing NADA Auto Show 2023, the Seres 3 will be available in two variants, Comfort and Premium, at an introductory price of Rs 47.99 Lakh and Rs 49.99 Lakh, each, respectively.This exclusive pricing will only be available while the initial stocks last, says the company. The post-launch price of the Comfort variant has been fixed at Rs 49.99 Lakh while the Premium variant will cost Rs 52.99 Lakh.The Seres 3 is powered by a 52.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and paired with a 99 kW electric motor. The Seres 3 claims an electric range of 405 kilometres on a full charge (NEDC). The Seres 3 has a ground clearance of 190mm.In terms of features, it comes loaded with a 10.25-inch multimedia system, a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, three drive modes, electrically adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof, among others. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, lane-departure warning alarm, electric-brake force distribution, hill-descent control, hill ascend control, auto-hold, etc.[nd_gallery images="40752,40753,40754,40756"]On the safety front, the Seres 3 will get six airbags (front, side and curtains), ESP, ABS with EBD, Hill Assist and Hill Descent, Auto Hold, Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning, 360-degree camera, Rear Parking Sensor, Traction Control and Lane-keep Assist.The Seres 3 is 4385mm long, 1850mm wide, 1650mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2655mm. A longer wheelbase usually results in more cabin space. It has a ground clearance of 190mm. The Seres 3 rides on 18-inch wheels. Similarly, it gets a spare tyre too.
